IELTS Speaking test
The IELTS Academic Speaking test will assess your proficiency in spoken English. It is conducted face-to-face with a trained IELTS examiner and all Speaking tests are recorded.
The Academic Speaking test is made up of 3 parts and takes between 11 and 15 minutes. In Part 1, the examiner will ask you about yourself and general questions from common topics like work, family, studies, interests and hobbies.
In part 2 of the Academic Speaking test, you will be given a card with a topic and asked to talk about it for 2 minutes. You will have one minute to prepare for your topic and a pencil and paper to draft your response. Part 3 is a two-way conversation, and the examiner will ask questions related to the topic discussed in Part 2.
The Academic Speaking test may be conducted on the same day as the other tests or a week before or after the other test parts.
تست اسپیکینگ به ارزیابی مهارت گفتاری شما در انگلیسی میپردازد و توسط ممتحن ایلتس برگزار میشود. این تست از سه بخش تشکیل شده است و 11 تا 15 دقیقه زمان میبرد. سوالات در بخش یک در مورد موضوعات شخصی و عمومی مانند کار، خانواده، مطالعات، علایق و سرگرمی های شماست. کل تست ضبط میشود.
در بخش دوم تست، یک موضوع دراختیار شما قرار خواهد گرفت. کاغذ و قلم به شما داده میشود و یک دقیقه زمان خواهید داشت تا آماده شوید و دو دقیقه در مورد آن موضوع صحبت کنید. در بخش سوم سوالاتی با پیچیدگی بیشتر در مورد همان موضوع عنوان شده در بخش دوم تست از شما پرسیده میشود.
تست اسپیکینگ ممکن است در همان روز تست کتبی، تا یک هفته قبل از آن و یا تا یک هفته بعد از آن برگزار شود.
2-2 IELTS Academic Writing test
The IELTS Academic Writing test is made up of two tasks, Writing Task 1 and Writing Task 2. The questions in the Academic Writing test are different to those in the General Training Writing test.
رایتینگ آکادمیک ایلتس از دو تسک تشکیل شده است و برای نوشتن آن یک ساعت زمان خواهید داشت. در تسک یک ایلتس آکادمیک یک نمودار، جدول، دیاگرام و یا نقشه اراِئه میشود و شما باید مطابق با آن به نوشتن یک گزارش با توصیف اطلاع بپردازید.
In Academic Writing Task 1, you will be shown a visual representation of information; a graph, table, chart or diagram, and you are asked to summarise, describe or explain the information you see. Make sure you organise your response into three main parts, the introduction, an overview and the main features supported by figures from the diagram.
In Academic Writing Task 2, you will be presented with a point of view, argument, or problem. The topics can range from the environment to immigration, culture, and even technology. You might be asked to, agree or disagree with a point of view or argument, discuss two opposing views, write about the advantages or disadvantages of a topic, or explain a given problem, or the cause of a problem and offer a solution. Your response for Academic Writing Task 2 will need to be in an essay format.
The General Training Writing test
The General Training Writing test is made up of two tasks, Writing Task 1 and Writing Task 2. The topics in each task are of general interest.
رایتینگ جنرال ایلتس از دو تست تشکیل میشود. در تسک 1، شرایط خاصی برای شما توصیف میشود و شما می بایست یک نامه بنویسید و درخواست اطلاعات کنید و یا شرایط را توضیح دهید. به عنوان مثال ممکن است نیاز باشد نامه ای بنویسید و پیشنهاداتی جهت بهبود امکانات یک کتابخانه ارائه کنید. توانایی شما در ارائه ی اطلاعات در پاسخ به تسک، بیان نیاز ها، بازگو کردن علایق، مطرح کردن نقطه نظرها و عنوان کردن شکایات مورد ارزیابی قرار میگیرد.
در تسک دو رایتینگ، یک نقطه نظر، استدلال و یا مسِئله ارائه میشود و موضوعات ممکن است در مورد محیط زیست، مهاجرت، فرهنگ و یا تکنولوژی باشند. بسته به نوع تسک ممکن است از شما خواسته شود در مورد دیدگاه خود بنویسید، دو دیدگاه مختلف را بررسی کنید، مزایا و معایب یک نقطه نظر را بنویسید، در مورد یک مشکل به خصوص توضیح دهید، به دلایل آن بپردازید و یا برای آن راه حل پیشنهاد کنید.
The IELTS Listening test will take about 30 minutes, and you will have an extra 10 minutes to transfer your answers to the answer sheet.
The four parts of this practice Listening test are presented over four separate web pages. Make sure you move swiftly from one page to the next so that your practice is as realistic as possible.
Download the question paper and blank answer sheet before you start, and write your answers on the question paper while you are listening. Use a pencil.
Listen to the instructions for each section of the test carefully. Answer all of the questions.There are 40 questions altogether. Each question carries one mark.
For each part of the test, there will be time for you to look through the questions and time for you to check your answers.When you have completed all four parts of the Listening test you will have ten minutes to copy your answers on to a separate answer sheet.
We can make special arrangements for test takers with disabilities. If you require a modified version of the test, for example, in Braille, contact your test centre three months in advance to discuss your requirements.
